Get tournament ready for The North of Ireland Local Tour with these special interactive sessions for players and parents.
The North of Ireland Local Tour tournaments are only 9 weeks away. To prepare Golfers and Parents, there will be a NEW clinic to help you to “Get tournament Ready’. All sessions, at Lurgan Golf Club (North of Ireland Tour Championship course), will last for 2 hours, with a MAX of 3 kids in each group.
This clinic will be an interactive session for both kids and parents, learning how to become a tournament player and tournament caddy. The clinic will cost £40 per kid.

Arrival 5 Minute Introduction | Welcome and introduction to the ‘Getting Tournament ready” Clinic Registration table will be set up showing the kids/parents how to register on arrival at a tournament. |
10 Minutes | A very quick introduction into a Tournament Style Warm-up Range, Chipping Green, Putting Green. What to do before you head out to play. A quick caddy de brief (less is more). |
15 Minutes | Make your way to starting tee (10 minutes before tee time). Official starter/announcing onto the first tee, scorecards given out at the first tee, along with tees pencils, and a copy U.S. Kids Hard card with additional rules |
1 Hour | On Course session, playing 3 holes from the correct US Kids tee markers per age division, all of these will be set out individually for each child in the group, 10 shot max rule, pace of play, what to do on course. |
10 Minutes | SCORING Table return all scorecards to the scoring table, learn how to sign scorecard, check scorecard and pop into scorecard box. |
15 Minutes | GAMES Finish up at the Academy with a fun interactive game. |
5 Minutes | Finish up with a quick debrief and a chance for any questions you may have regarding the tournaments. |
Please note spaces are limited as the numbers in each clinic has to be small due to the interactive on course sessions involving both kids and parents.
